Getting Started
What do I need to get my Anchor Score? Your income, essential expenses, current savings, and dependents. That's it. No credit check, no lengthy application.
How is my Anchor Score different from a credit score? Anchor Score measures financial readiness — how prepared you are to withstand a loss of income. No connection to credit bureau data or borrowing history.
Can my Anchor Score change? Yes. It reflects your current position, not a fixed label. It updates as your savings, expenses, or dependents change.
Your Score & States
Is a low score something to be worried about? No. Every state reflects where things stand today, not a judgment. Most people don't start at the top.
How often should I check my score? Whenever it's useful to you. It's meant to be revisited occasionally to see real progress, not tracked constantly.
What's the difference between a Virtual and a Verified Score? A Virtual Score comes from the information you provide directly. A Verified Score is confirmed against actual financial data, adding accuracy on top of it.
Building Your Fund
Where does my money actually go when I save? Into a liquid fund, distributed on an execution-only basis. Funds are held with the respective Asset Management Company — not with Anchor Score.
Can I choose how much and how often I save? Yes. You can set up recurring contributions — daily, weekly, or monthly — or add lump sums whenever you have extra available. Both count toward your progress.
What happens if I withdraw money? Your runway shortens and your score reflects that, the same way it grows when you save. Withdrawals are always your choice, but they do move the number backward.
Can I stop and restart contributions? Yes. Recurring contributions can be paused or adjusted at any time.
Verification & Trust
Why does verification matter? It adds confidence to your number by confirming it against real data, rather than relying only on what you've reported yourself.
Is my financial information kept private? Yes. Your data is handled in line with applicable data protection requirements and is not shared beyond what's needed to provide the service.
Does Anchor Score interact with credit bureaus in any way? No, at no point in the process.
Account & Support
Is Anchor Score a bank or an investment advisor? Neither. Anchor Score is offered by Finaptis Wealthtech Pvt. Ltd., an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor (ARN-318892). It doesn't hold your money or give personalized investment advice.
